Our Approach.
Henley Green Primary School maintains an inclusive approach to education. We strive to ensure that all pupils reach their full potential socially, emotionally and academically.
We recognise that some pupils may need additional support at points throughout their school life. This support may be in the form of physical resources, additional teaching or approaches to learning. We aim to identify pupil needs quickly to implement the appropriate support to enable progress. At times, the school may need to involve specialists from outside agencies to support our practice. The school adopts a graduated approach to Inclusion, as detailed in the flow charts below.
The school has a dedicated Inclusion Team:
Mrs Estelle Collett-Cox: Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo
Mrs Joanne Rouse: Well Being and Learning Mentor
Mrs Kerris Robinson: Well Being and Learning Mentor
Ms Cadean Brown: Well Being and Learning Mentor
Mrs Jan Fossick: Family Support Manager and Safeguarding Lead
Mrs Jacqui Barker: Family Support Worker and Safeguarding Lead
Miss Kim Morris: Family Support Worker, Attendance Lead and Safeguarding Lead
The team work across the school to support staff, pupils and parents.
