Henley Green Primary School maintains an inclusive approach to education. We strive to ensure that all pupils reach their full potential socially, emotionally and academically.
We recognise that some pupils may need additional support at points throughout their school life. This support may be in the form of physical resources, additional teaching or approaches to learning. We aim to identify pupil needs quickly to implement the appropriate support to enable progress. At times, the school may need to involve specialists from outside agencies to support our practice. The school adopts a graduated approach to Inclusion, as detailed in the flow charts below.
The school has a dedicated Inclusion Team:
Miss Emma Baxter: Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion & SEND Co
Mrs Maxine Murphy: Child and Family Support Manager
Mrs Joanne Rouse: Learning Mentor
Miss Kim Morris: Teaching Support Assistant
The team work across the school to support staff, pupils and parents.
SEND Policy & Information Report
Below is our school's SEND Policy and SEN Information Report. These documents detail our approach to SEND provision. As our practice is constantly evolving, not all resources may be listed. Should you have any questions, please contact a member of the Inclusion Team.
