For our ‘PE WOW Day’ this year, we have invited back our visitors from Urban Active.

The date for this will be Friday 13th February.

You may remember back in February 2025, Jack Stephenson and Kalim Bartlet amazed our children with their breakdancing and beatboxing skills.

This started with a whole school assembly, to inform the children about the chosen activities. This included a full performance and workshops throughout the day for all year groups.

Creative Urban really created a buzz around school that day.

This year we will be having Jordan,' the real life Spiderman man,' teaching us all about Parkour and the acrobatic qualities of the sport.

For a quick preview, you can check out their website.

Sports Leaders

Congratulations to our sports leaders from both year 6 and year 4, who have undertaken their training. This was delivered by Ben Tidy from CV Life.

Being a Sports Leader enables our children to:

  • Involve children in group games
  • Ensure playtimes are fun and enjoyable
  • Develop skills in Leadership
  • Help run reception, KS1 and KS2 sports days.

These children will be asked to interact with younger children, this could be at lunchtime or break times.
