Physical Education

Children will have PE on Tuesday and EPIC on Wednesday during the Summer Term.

Please make sure children come to school in the morning in their P.E. kit on their P.E. days.

Homework

We read every day at Henley Green. Please listen to your child read for at least 5 minutes and ask them questions about what they have read, then sign their reading record for them to bring in each day.

Children should practice the times tables they are currently learning and will have a practice sheet to take home every week. TTRS tests will be every Wednesday.

By the end of Year 4, all children should know all their timetables – on your marks, get set, GO!

Our current learning in Year 4:

Summer Curriculum Task

Our History Topic this term is all about Ancient Greece. We will be locating the UK and Greece on a map and comparing modern day Greece to the Greek Empire built by Alexander the Great. We will investigate the historical events that have taken place in Ancient Greece and look at the Ancient Greek democracy and compare it with the current UK democratic system. We will also look at the legacy of the Ancient Greeks including art, culture, and the Olympics.

You can visit the following website to find out more about the Ancient Greeks: BBC - Who were the Ancient Greeks?

For your Summer challenge, we have compiled several activities for you to complete about the Ancient Greeks. For each activity you complete and share with staff, you will be rewarded with 5 dojos.
