Challenge: 

Find and Look at two different shaped containers, such as a narrow bottle and a shallow dish. Which do you think will hold more? Now find some rice, sugar, salt, flour or whatever you can around your home. 

Investigate which of your containers holds more by counting the number of spoonfuls of rice each one can hold. Write down the number and check was your prediction right?

Which container held the most and how do you know?
